This is a beautiful farmer's market. They offer lots of samples and a huge variety of fruits, vegetables, ciders, wines and other homemade goods. Prices are on the high side on everything but it's a great place to spend a few hours browsing. Also, honestly, some of THEE cleanest bathrooms you'll ever see! They literally have someone with a towel and cleaning spray going in each bathroom after each person uses it. I couldn't believe it!
My brother and his wife don`t live far from Morris`s and turned me on to it. I love to go and see what`s in season. It is set up perfectly, with so much to chose from and sample. The ciders are great, delicious freshly made bakery items and so many good things to eat! And they have to have the cleanest, nicest bathrooms of any place on Rt.168!
I love this place. I try to visit each time I am down that way, they always have the Best tomatoes! Samples of various fruits and vegetables as well as cider, salsa, pickles and other items are available to taste. If you need a break it's an excellent place to stop for some refreshments! Homemade ice cream is available and is some of the best! There are also numerous restroom stalls available for the public's use, the cleanest you will find anywhere!
This place is amazing. So many selections of produce and goods including seasonal items. Small bakery in the back. The cider they sell is some of the best I've ever had, try the strawberry flavor if you visit! Unfortunately, they're only open from late April to early November, so make sure to visit during the season. It's busiest of course during May-September from OBX tourists, but it's definitely worth the stop.
We take a trip from Virginia Beach every 2 weeks and head down to Morris Farmers Market. It has a wide selection of produce, Baked Goods, Jellies, pickles, wine, beer, ice cream, etc.
It is a very cozy country environment and the kids love it. I would suggest if heading down to the OBX you stop in....Have Fun!!
